Members of the Civilian JTF have apprehended four suspected members of the Boko Haram sect in Borno State.
The suspected terrorists were arrested in Malari village in the Konduga Local Government area of Borno state.
The arrest reportedly took place while Governor Kashim Shettima was visiting the area and the insurgents were paraded before him.
Civilian JTF leader, Nuhu Kumshise, told Sahara Reporters:
''We arrested them today after his father handed over them to us, then they led us into the bush where the two remaining guys hid themselves.”
Boko Haram recently released a video in which it claimed to still be in control. The sect’s leader, Abubakar Shekau was however absent from the clip.
