Vanguard reports that the suspects were reportedly caught while trying
to make away with the stolen animals, after they had successfully stolen
 two others from the pen.

Three men have reportedly been arrested while attempting to steal goats from a restaurant owner.
The suspects, who disclosed that they were returning from a vigil at the
time of the incident, and cannot explain how the two goats got into
their possession, were arrested in Amarata, a suburb of Yenagoa, Bayelsa
 State.
According to Vanguard, the suspects were
reportedly caught while trying to make away with the stolen animals,
after they had successfully stolen two others from the pen.
An eyewitness reveals to Vanguard
that the suspects were caught by a resident of the compound, with one
of them holding a bible, claiming that they were Christians returning
from a church vigil service.
The resident is said
to have raised an alarm, alerting the local vigilante group in the area
who later arrested the suspects and handed them to the police.
